Because the research issues have not been thoroughly studied or explored, research gaps or insufficient information affect the conclusions of the research results. One of the gaps in evidence gap as the intervention is the nurse-led psychoeducational intervention to promote breast cancer management. Still, the number of responses does not fully capture the experiences of the target research participants. Yet, experiences from more participants would help identify the most effective interventions. The other research gap is the application or implementation gap, as there is a need to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention and work with governmental and non-governmental organizations. Evidence-based interventions are used to support decisions. Comparing and synthesizing various research findings at the pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation phases may provide insights into the implementation gap (Dintrans et al., 2019). Recognizing the research gaps is necessary to generate research, understand the research topic better, and address the gaps.
