Information from instructor satisfaction surveys also provides valuable information to guide teaching.

Concept maps describe the relationships between concepts and allow for improved understanding through critical thinking and analysis.

Assessment in education is more than offering end-of-term exams or preparing for a standardized test. It helps shape the learning process by providing interpretive insights to teachers and school heads on their impacts on students’ learning, thus informing their learning steps. Whether through formative assessment, summative assessment or instructor satisfaction survey, these forms of evaluation reduce teachers’ burden in the learning process by ensuring the highest outcome is achieved through timely and informative evaluation of students’ learning.The formative assessment strategy I selected is reassessment through classroom questioning to determine the knowledge gap among students. It involves asking students leading questions about the lesson to determine what they understood and are struggling with (Jiang, 2020. pp.23). The strategy is essential in helping me identify the particular concepts students struggled to understand thus, give them detailed and specific information that bridges their learning gaps. Also, it enlightens students about their learning needs and strengths, so they can be more attentive to building them (Leenknecht et al., 2021, pp. 237-239). I will use the information to emphasize things that were unclear or confused students to avoid them becoming issues in future lessons.
The summative assessment strategy I selected is the final research project concerning concepts presented through the problem identified and solved in the evidence-based teaching strategies. It involves giving students a research project assignment on a topic related to the class. The assessment is ideal for establishing whether students have learned and understood what they were taught by applying the learning concepts.
