Introduction
Since the coronavirus became a global concern, many countries have tried to fight the disease by implementing health measures like manufacturing vaccines to effectively minimize the virus's spread. In addition, every individual is aware of the necessary steps to take to stay free from the virus. These two main steps can help address the coronavirus issue (Gavin, Lyne & McNicholas, 2020).
Barriers
Some of the two socioeconomic barriers to change concerning COVID-19 are social distancing and restriction of movement, which have negatively affected both social and economic sectors. The most vulnerable people are the elderly and individuals with underlying medical conditions like diabetes, cancer, chronic respiratory illnesses, and cardiovascular illnesses. In addition, the virus affects people from all geographical settings, from both rural and urban areas (Gavin, Lyne & McNicholas, 2020).
