There are a lot of developmental diversities among children and adults. Such diversities make the physical assessment process different in both groups. Some of the strategies used to physically assess an adult's health might not be effective in assessing a child. Therefore, nurses ought to identify the best fit strategy to ensure they get the necessary information from a patient regardless of their age.
