Introduction
Coordinated school health refers to an approach aimed at integration of health components. The main aim of the coordinated school health is reinforcement of knowledge and skills in the health sector. The components are all interlinked and depend on each other for proper functioning. One component cannot on its own achieve the desired outcomes (Lohrmann, 2010). Rather, it must coordinate with other components and together, the desired achievements are realized. This approach is very crucial among students as it helps improve their health. Further, the capacity for students to learn through various interlinks and offer support to the community becomes a reality. In total, the components are eight in number. This discussion has focused on these components and how they are integrated to realize a common goal.
