Complex World Article Submission

Essay Instructions:
Meaningful Use Complex World is a leading (fictitious) publication for interdisciplinary approaches to real-world problems. It is a publication that you will encounter in future courses at Excelsior. For our purposes, we will consider it a peer-reviewed source (as your instructor will be reviewing your submissions) that addresses public issues and problems from an interdisciplinary lens. For your submission to Complex World at Excelsior University, you will submit a short editorial. We are increasingly seeing peer-reviewed journals invite experts to share insights in the form of these editorials. It is a mechanism to disseminate information to the professional community while the often-lengthy research is in progress around pressing issues, such as the recent pandemic, responses to violent natural and human-made events, and more. The cover of the issue to which you will be submitting your editorial will give you a visual of the theme of the magazine. Remember that editorials are typically opinion pieces; supporting your opinions with data adds to your credibility. So, be sure your opinions are supported by evidence. Assume that Complex World is a leading source of interdisciplinary information for leaders in all fields and careers. Write a short editorial as a forward thinker to address the following: In your term-length project, you are focusing on a specific marginalized population served by a community health center affiliated with Newville Clinic. Write an op-ed sharing two evidence-based recommendations for leveraging meaningful use to reduce and ultimately eliminate health disparities for this population. Space is limited in an op-ed, so choose your words carefully. Be creative and persuasive on your recommendations, as you want the professionals reading to take action! ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS For Complex World, here are the formatting requirements: Your article should be no fewer than 600 words and no more than 800. Your article should be submitted using the Complex World submission template. You have the ability to move images and headings within the template. Be sure to include subheadings to break up your text and walk the readers through the sections of the article. Lead and inline images are highly suggested. Note that images convey emotion, much like our article cover does. They also help to break up the text. Unsplash or Pixabay are great sources for free images.

This editorial presents solutions to the problem and shows the application of meaningful use in eliminating health disparities at the clinic. Meaningful Use Meaningful use involves the application of electronic health record (HER) programs to ensure that both patients and healthcare providers benefit from healthcare. The primary goal of meaningful use is to ensure that the patient remains healthy and has the best outcome (Trout et al., 2022, p. 1). Meaningful use offers standards of operation that determine the extent to which one can use patients' data or share it with others. In essence, it acknowledges that it supports the capturing of patient information. Hence, it restricts sharing the same to protect one's privacy. The healthcare disparity at the hospital is costing patients and medical practitioners. The group that is discriminated against often has more sick patients as they suffer the severity of their conditions. These conditions can be healed effectively if the medical practitioners in the clinic stop discriminating against other individuals. Healthcare disparity is negative for medical practitioners because it increases their workload. When a doctor discriminates against a patient because of the patient's social group, the doctor is likely to receive the patient again in the future, and he will be treating the same illness that he treated before since the patient will not have fully recovered...
