I would use traditional communication methods such as an introduction letter and a budget proposal to inform the upper management about the need to improve patient care and the required budget. The funding request would entail reasons why the additional funds are required and indicate the areas that it would be allocated to (Mullaney, 2014). The submission would also include the relevant application forms for the specific grant completed in accordance to the laid out guidelines. The message conveyed is structured and formal. It will be in a format that is compliant with the defacto standard used in healthcare. It will also be in compliance with the communication policies on patient’s record. This communication will be conveyed to the upper management through different communication methods.
