There is nursing shortage and this has increased the burden for nurses and the strike will bring awareness about their conditions and may influence policy changes. Reasons against striking The strike affects the operations of the hospital and patients will most likely be referred to other hospital facilities in the region. Striking would send a bad precedent and disrupt operations further causing conflicts with the management.
