People who have diabetes need better or proper care and management to improve their well-being. It has been one of the primary thoughts and need for direction in handling patients suffering from diabetes. Analysis shows that in recent years, healthcare facilities have used person-centered care and education as recommended strategies for managing people with diabetes. Education is an evidence-based approach because both healthcare professionals and patients get knowledge about diabetes. This information includes what causes diabetes, management practices, and nutritional guidance to manage diabetes. Information is power and will reduce the costs of managing diabetes.
Secondly, the method of person-centered care in managing diabetes is evidence-based because it improves the results and betters the well-being of patients with diabetes. The rationale for person-centered care is it creates opportunities for individualized treatment plans. It is argued that diabetes management is an aspect that should be tailored or structured in a way that
