Ways in which the company can prevent workers from contracting communicable diseases
The company can prevent workers from contracting communicable diseases by installing reliable and effective communication systems to dissipate and facilitate the flow of information in the company CITATION Mah03 \l 1033 (Maher, Boldrini, Pathania, & Alli, 2003). Secondly, the organization could have established services, facilities, and structures that aid in the care, prevention and support for patients and employees who contract contagious diseases on their line of duty.
 The roles and duties of the organization in providing safety to employees on the job
The organization has a duty to use educational campaigns to create awareness among the employees to decrease stigma. Creating and actualizing effective and efficient health education helps to address the negative attitudes which breed stigmatization towards workers with TB. Like in the case of Sara and other employees, if the organization had adequately educated its workers on the proper way of managing and controlling TB, they both could not have contracted the disease CITATION OSH13 \l 1033 (OSHA, 2013). Additionally, her boss and other employees could not have treated her in the way that they did to make her feel isolated. Traditionally, people perceive TB as a terminal disease which affects poor people. For instance, the organization needs to teach the employees that TB is a curable disease, that TB patients stop being contagious after two to four weeks after treatment, and that every person vulnerable to the disease.
