The type of leadership style and traits applied plays an important role in determining the success of an organization. Professional collaboration is necessary for the nursing field because it enhances the quality of the care accorded to patients. I have realized that through such collaboration between the nurses, physicians, and other workers within the facility helps the team members to acknowledge one another's skills and knowledge. As a result, this improves the decisions made in regard to the health of the patient. Therefore, professional collaboration is one of the most important aspects of the nursing field that helps in the improvement of the healthcare provided to patients. A team that expresses professional collaboration is easy to lead, and thus, leaders face a few challenges from such teams (Reeves, Pelone, Harrison, Goldman & Zwarenstein, 2017). I think this is the best trait that a team can have in the medical field.
