Employees ought to access the BPP exposure control plan through the district’s website, and this is necessary to understand how to minimize or eliminate the Bloodborne pathogens. The school should also provide links and resources to the BPP Exposure Control Plan. Since the controls and procedures are reviewed on an annual basis this keeps the Control Plan updated. Based on the OSHA guidelines there is a need for written bloodborne exposure control plans and standard precautions, when training employees (Baker, 2013).
Outsourced training reduces costs and saves time when the people tasked with training are well conversant with the training procedures and OSHA guidelines. Even as this approach allows other people to gain skills and knowledge, there is a loss of control over the training program or unexpected delays. Even as the approach adapts learning to the individual needs, there may be low commitment and appropriate support (Dembski Hart, 2011).
