These recent healthcare innovations and changes can positively impact existing healthcare systems while enhancing the element of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) quadruple aim of improving population health. This paper discusses the DALL- E 2 innovation and ChatGPT model that Centra Health is considering implementing to improve its primary care services and population health. ChatGPT and its Impacts on Existing Systems ChatGPT is a recent change in health care that has been generating responses to varying prompts since 2022. Stakeholders in Centra Health facility can use ChatGPT to ask health-related questions. They could be caregivers, patients, doctors, medical students, and researchers who could enquire simple to complex questions regarding diverse medical conditions. Consequently, the facility can efficiently achieve the quadruple aim of improving population health. ChatGPT has multiple impacts on the healthcare systems that can enhance populations’ health. These include making diagnoses, learning new information and developments in medical fields, and managing patients’ health remotely and in the hospital (Dave et al., 2023). The virtual assistants in ChatGPT further help patients improve their health. These aspects summarize patients’ health information and provide guidelines for better disease management (Dave et al., 2023). For instance, ChatGPT virtual assistant applications can remind patients of the dosage and instructions for their medicines to manage their condition effectively. ChatGPT's Impacts and Mechanisms of Improving Population Health In addition, ChatGPT can evaluate its content before answering users’ queries. Artificial intelligence models can analyze extensive amounts of data regarding different diseases and estimate possible results that can improve the population’s health and prevent disease outbreaks and spread (Olawade et al., 2023). For instance, ChatGPT can gather patients’ health details to promote self-management of different conditions (Dave et al., 2023).
