Formed in 1972 under the United States (US) Education Amendments, Title IX denotes the federal rights rule that disallows sex discrimination across all US educational or learning institutions that get federal government funding for education purposes (Walker, 2020). Based on the law, sex discrimination happens in different forms. These include not admitting an individual into an educational program based on their sex, offering two students unequal or dissimilar educational materials, being involved in sexual harassment actions like undesirable sexual advances, treating an individual differently from another when deciding if the individual meets specific conditions before receiving a service, aid, or benefit, and excluding an individual
