The Policy Solution

In Section I of the video, Cohen and Michelli describe the journey from labeling the school climate issue to proposing standards that will lead to the development of national policy. In this Discussion, you will analyze the use of policy as a tool for addressing education problems. You will also analyze policy goals using what you have learned from the public policy readings. This is Section I of a four-section case study featuring the National School Climate Center (NSCC). The NSCC’s efforts to draw national attention to the importance of school climate provide a focus for the Discussion questions in Modules 1 through 4.
