Introduction
Professional development (PD) is a cornerstone for a school's continuous growth and overall success. In this essay PD in my school will be analyzed and evaluated. This analysis will include how PD increases the capacity of the staff to align with the mission and vision of the school and promote quality learning. PD program: School Vision and Mission and Quality Learning
A good PD program should be tied inextricably to what the school wants to achieve; hence, there is a need for educators' professional growth aimed at realizing larger educational goals (Andersson & Palm, 2017). At my school, PD is carefully designed so that it increases staff capability within the framework of the school’s vision and mission.
