The presence of English Language Learners (ELL) necessitates introducing a special form of teaching to cater to their need. It is not that the understanding of concepts by the ELL learners is fairly complex compared to their Native English counterparts. Instead, it requires a particular setting in teaching to address their special social and academic language preferences. Various proposals on ELL instructions have been put forward to address these special needs for ELL learners, including the need for a teacher to be culturally responsive, practice ongoing reflection on culture, learn about other peoples cultures, and even familiarize with the student’s style of communication (IRIS Center, n.d.).
