Connection 1 – Framing the Learning
Understanding the importance of team-dynamics and clarity is essential for teaching children. It allows the teacher to be able to understand how to frame tasks into a coherent team-based structure that would benefit the student in the long-run. Accordingly, one of the connections between the concept of clarity and team-based boundless learning is framing the learning through the setting of goals, expectations, and other objectives that would guide the teacher and the students.
On the one hand, framing the learning in the concept of clarity of teaching has two main aspects, namely (1) communicating the big picture and (2) assessing readiness to receive CITATION Sap17 \l 1033 (Saphier, Gower, & Haley-Speca, 2017). First, communicating the big picture aims to provide an overview and allows the student to relate past, present, and future lessons to the ones that will be discussed in the upcoming lecture. In turn, this could then improve student engagement, results achievement, as well as develop the proper behaviors that students should exhibit within a group setting. It was also shown that by providing clarity, the teachers could establish their authority as early as the beginning and command more interaction with the student, helping develop the children within a social setting.
