1 What is a persona? What do personas represent?
In the interview, Dr. Getto stated that personas of technical writing should be identified for the writer to understand for whom the information will be delivered. Getto added that the personas are comparable to the characters of a design story. These are the people with whom the writer interviewed and interacted. Moreover, the personas are central to technical writing because observing their actions while using an application, item, or product will provide the writer with an accurate description or information (Weber, 2015).
