Discussion One significant thing that I learned during the course is the diverse nature of issues that an effective higher education administrator has to address. To this end, one has to confront the increasing levels of financial instability, technological disruptions (Guardia et al., 2021), and the shifting societal expectations. I noted that external forces have a significant influence on the strategy and stability of an institution. Policy shifts and economic trends means that an administrator has to acknowledge the interdependencies that exists between an institution and its operating environment.
