My father says this to me all the time, "all we have to fix is what to do with the time given to us." Well, this is what happened to me years ago. The school bus had just left, so my mom ordered a cab to pick me up. That morning, I had had a rough time waking up, so I did not get enough time to have breakfast. As I was about to leave, I could not find my left shoe, so I was forced to wear my sports shoes. As I rushed out of the door, the car sped off. The driver had already spent half an hour at our gate as he waited for me. I had a few minutes left; I was determined to arrive at school at the shortest time possible when I saw an old lady trip and fall as she tried to cross the road.
