The career path of a lineman and wireman opens up opportunities for an individual who is eager to exploit them. However, the ultimate goal for a practitioner is to build on skills and become as competent as possible. In this case, pursuing further education is a decision that helps improve one’s prospects in the electrical industry. Given such a scholarship, I believe that the benefits I can offer to this organization go beyond the membership fees I contribute.
Furthering my education offers me an opportunity to get a better job, which pays higher salaries. My contributions will also rise, and considering that I will be a lifetime member, the financial incentives over the course of my employment should be appealing. Therefore, there is no denying that the main goal for me is to improve my status in the industry and enjoy the benefits that such a status offers. Improved living standards from better salaries are among the top goals, especially for individuals who hope to offer the family and dependents a better life. However, such status also comes with a greater role to play in the organization, especially in terms of financial contributions.
The electrical industry can always benefit from more educated individuals. Through the scholarship, I will improve my skills and competence, which will make me a better employee.
