I would like to tender my application for an opportunity to study at Loyola Marymount University with the intention of furthering my studies. At the moment I am finishing my studies in Saudi Arabia. After having a series of discussions with my family members and a number of my close friends, I discovered that no one can go far in life if he does not have quality education. This is the main reason why I chose Loyola Marymount University; I would like to be a member of one of the best education institutions in the world. I opted for Loyola Marymount University because I would like to start a process that would enable me to go as far as I could with regard to my studies; in addition, I would almost certainly wind up taking my masters education at this esteemed institution.
Before my decision to join Loyola Marymount University (LMU) was reached, I did adequate research regarding several institutions. What struck me the most was the fact that Loyola Marymount University not only has vibrant programs, including my major – business management, but also has vibrant people. These two factors attest to the well known fact that LMU is among premier institutions that provide the best education with regard to higher education. This is another reason why I chose LMU. The right environment provided by the University is a chief boost to my attempt of finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. It is sad to note that most of the institutions offering the same major did not strike me as having the same atmosphere or attitude that I have noted at LMU.
Another motivation for selecting LMU was the number of friends that I have, who are alumni of LMU, and others are still studying at LMU. All of them have confirmed the results of my research. In addition, I have been to the campus on several occasions, and I was astounded by the higher education system, buildings, location and the utilities that serve it around the campus. Its location in the beautiful college town of Marina Del Ray, California, is an additional incentive for applying for this opportunity. Given that I would also like to look for a part time job even as I study, in order to supplement the theory and practices learnt in class with real life experiences, California offers such great potential.
