In a videocast, Lyon (2017) elaborates that people either get nervous or lie during presentations. These two aspects influence the trust people have towards speech presenters. When people deliver a speech, their looks may not reflect their nervousness. However, this is not evident to the audience listening to our presentations. Amidst these, people get excited when they realize they are delivering the right speech, a notion that Takac et al. (2019) agree with. Such are the catalysts and break-evens in speech presentations. To beef up everything, he advises speakers to train a lot before presenting so they can boost their memory and enhance confidence. These are done with a focus on the audience and the subject matter. The final preparation step is to visualize ourselves, giving the best speeches to our audience as this increases our confidence.
