  As they stain their white uniforms with blood, dirt, and tears, the loud explosion of cheerful chanting resonates with their will to win. Each kick shakes the core of enemy goal defenders as the Real Madrid signature heart-stopping attacks bullets towards the goal.
They are the best football club in the history of Europe. Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Florentino Perez, and Sergio Ramos are international sports superstars that cemented the fame of Real Madrid in the football world. Championship after championship, year after another, Real Madrid tiers among the highest echelons of sport prestige. However, is there a secret recipe behind their football greatness?
What are the statistics?
Last July, the team clinched their 34th La Liga trophy to add along with their extensive list of awards and honors. They grabbed an unexpected win against one domestic rival, the Villareal Club. In the past ten years, they won eight domestic titles, seven continental competitions, and four worldwide championships. The most notable wins are the UEFA Championship League and the FIFA Club World Cup, where they won side-by-side three-peats. So, how has it come to this? However, how did they reach this pinnacle of success?

One major characteristic of Real Madrid is its willingness to invest in individual talent. They pay more to gain more. Specifically, the contracts of Gareth bale, James Rodríguez, and Cristiano Ronaldo have a combined estimated cost of around 277 million Euros. Cristiano Ronaldo alone is hailed as the best player in Real Madrid history and arguably one of the best football players of all time. Even none football fans encountered the fame of CR7's legendary career. Ronaldo is a Portuguese professional football player that joined Real Madrid in 2009. He won multiple honors, including five Ballon d'Or awards, which is the highest football achievement for an individual player. For each jaw-dropping dribble and marksman-like shooting precision, Ronaldo led Real Madrid in grabbing most of their wins. Although he left the club in 2018, Real Madrid still dominates other football clubs across Europe. 
Football fans argued that expensive players are the key to success for Real Madrid. So, the people believed that the transfer of Ronaldo to another team crippled the winning streaks of the club. However, every sports team knows that talent can only win games, while teamwork and dedicated play win championships.
The other key team players in the past decade of Real Madrid include Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos that made essential contributions in solidifying the team dynamics and strategy. Sergio Ramos joined in 2005 and still plays for the club. He is currently the club captain and one of the best defenders in the field. His skills and abilities remained consistent throughout the years, which proved his role in keeping the success of the club.
Luka Modric is another key player of Real Madrid, as he is also one of the awardees of the prestigious Ballon d'Or award. His midfield game currently ranks as the best in the world. His passes and assist to Real Madrid attackers confuse enemy defenders down the midfield stretch. He still plays for the club today.

After a mutual agreement with the board of Real Madrid, he left the team in 2013. 
Carlo Ancelotti and Rafael Benitez became the team manager of Real Madrid, but the most impactful manager that solidified the dominance of the club in the past ten years is Zinedine Zidane. Zidane helped coached the team to win two Spanish Super Cup, three UEFA Champions League, two UEFA Super Cups, two La Liga Championships, and two FIFA Club World Cup, which are more than half of the total championship wins that the club won in the past ten years.
