3.2 Two Independent Samples T-Test
This test seeks to determine if the male students at NSW spend a considerable amount of time on online shopping in a day compared to the female students. A total of 81 observations are made to determine the hours spent on online shopping experiences per day, with these observations conducted on a selected population sample of 41 males and 40 females randomly with the aim of testing if there are differences that exist between the male students and female students in relation to their shopping experiences over a period of one hour. Given this, a descriptive statistic on the average number of hours spent on online shopping on a single day among the males and females is determined below:
