Case studies are included at the end of each chapter. You are responsible for reading, analyzing and discussing these or any part of the chapter that is of interest to you at each class meeting. You should be prepared to incorporate definitions, perspectives and concepts related to the case and topic. These cases will be discussed on the assigned date for the chapter readings. You could also choose to discuss part of the chapter, concept, theory or other instead of the case study. Come prepared to share your insights. Hand in a one-two page (typed, double-spaced) discussion that includes any outside research and references. Adding your insights and comparing the issue to a current event are helpful and enhance your points. You are responsible for all 10 chapters and will be given points accordingly. You should be prepared to discuss your findings during our class discussions/lectures. You may be asked to join a chatroom to share your information. Chapter reflections are due on the scheduled date that corresponds to the chapter schedule. You will be given up to 3 points for each chapter. Response. 2. Would the 7-S model be useful to the Eastland Wellness Policy Council as it makes decisions about food policies for the school district? How?
3. How important do you think the language of the Eastland policy will be in ensuring its successful implementation? What step would you suggest that the council members take to ensure the successful implementation of the policy?

Policy communication is one way in which members of the organization use a strategic thinking process (collecting crucial environmental information and making good choices about the organization's values, positioning, and directions). The loop of policy communication is a way to develop communication practices that groups and individuals use when associating with policy (Eisenberg et al., 2017). The essential part of the loop is the view that policy texts function within webs of other procedures. Therefore, policy texts are documented postures implemented across the organization and align strategically with the objectives of the superordinate. However, from a positive perspective, policy language ambiguity can bring possibilities in a policy text and help policymakers prevent overly oppressive rules. Ultimately, policies operate to coordinate actions across contexts, allowing organizations to align their communication practices throughout various sites strategically. Any change in the policy must consider how the new policy text will align with the existing approaches.
The 7-s model would be exceptionally helpful in thinking about the strategic alignment of the Eastland wellness policy council. The model provides a strategy factor that gives a unique purpose to all Eastland employees and stakeholders, differentiating the organization from its competitors, making policymaking effective. Moreover, the 7-s model would also provide superordinate objectives that each council member is motivated to attain, for instance, which food policy will be more appropriate to the school.
