The potential internal communication problems in the software solutions provider's United States (US) branch could be caused by an unsynchronized relationship between the US branch team and the headquarters in Singapore. The communication challenges affect how information is shared between the two branches, thus impeding effective operations. Moreover, the time zone and cultural variances pose a communication challenge, and this could lead to miscommunication or a delay in the information exchange. When information is unclear, it is hard to clarify due to time differences, thus leading to immediate challenges (Errida & Lotfi, 2021). Conversely, a hierarchical structure that blocks avenues for open communication or discourages interaction between lower-level employees and management will prevent issues or key insights from being addressed, resulting in a weak and disintegrated team. Changes in leadership in the US branch may hinder communication as they affect the previous communication channels and processes.
