Adolescence (see Kohlberg's work on moral reasoning)
Adulthood (depending on how old your person is)
Part B: Motivation
Using Maslow's theory of need fulfillment and McClelland's work on motivation for success, tell us about your subject's drives and needs in 350–700 words. Include the following in your discussion:
What seemed to motivate this person to achieve what he or she has in life?
What life lessons might you draw on for your own career and life journey from your subject\'s life and how that person handled his or her drives and needs.
Remember, all people have needs, and if your needs are not met positively, they will be met negatively.

There are biographies that have been written about the famous people in the world: some written by the individuals themselves while others are written by hired authors or simply by authors who feel the need to write the biography of a certain personality. One agreeable fact is that through the biography of an individual, a lot can be learnt concerning the person`s life as well as his/her psychological development. This essay looks at the life of Lady Gaga.

Life History
Everyone has a history, a story of where he/she has come from, the challenges faced in life and the achievements accomplished in life. All these define who the individual is. Lady Gaga, the subject of this essay, is a celebrated American Singer, but one whom many people don`t know much about. Behind the beautiful, vocal and blonde haired singer is a resilient, focused and determined individual as shown in the following paragraphs.
According to A+E Networks, lady Gaga was born as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta back in 1986, March 28. He birth place was in Yonkers, New York. However, she grew up in Manhattan. She was born to a rich Italian family to Joseph and Cynthia Germanotta. She was an initiative child, having the characteristics defined by Hawaii.edu (1990) Pre-Schooler. At the age of four, she learned how to play the Piano. Her eye for music seemed to open up early. At the age of 11, Lady Gaga gained admission to the Juilliard School in Manhattan but joined a Catholic school instead. She studied music and performing. At 13 years of age, she wrote her first piano ballad and held a performance at 14, in a New York nightclub. She therefore could be classified as an industrious young person, according to the Erikson`s classification of developmental stages.
Gaga knew exactly what she wanted in life, and when she hit the adolescent years, she had no problem of identity at all as concerns who she wanted to be. According to A+E Networks (2011), Germanotta gave herself the name Lady Gaga, getting the inspiration for the name from the song ‘Radio Ga-Ga.` Her music career seemed to blossom in her adolescent years. At the age of 17, she was admitted to the Tisch School of Arts at the New York University. This put her in the list of the only 20 students to be accepted early into the school. While there, Lady Gaga improved her writing and performing skills, though she later left to find some more creative inspiration. Her hardworking skills were once again pronounced where she took up three different jobs to earn a living, including a short time job as a gogo dancer. Al through this time, she was keen on improving her performing and art skills.
