Examine your chosen non-scholarly web page for currency, relevance, authority, accuracy, and purpose.
Reflect:
Reflect on the elements of the CRAAP test and how each one indicates the credibility and reliability of a source.
Consider how your evaluation of each of these elements affects your understanding of the strength of the source.
Think about why it is important to evaluate any web page that you plan to rely on for information.
Write:
Apply the CRAAP test to your source.
For each of the CRAAP criteria, start a new paragraph.
In each paragraph, state which criterion you are addressing and evaluate the source based on that criterion.
Provide specific examples to support your evaluation.
Evaluate your source’s overall strength based on the elements of the CRAAP test. Is this source appropriate to use in answering to your research question, why or why not?
Explain one thing you have learned from the process of doing this CRAAP test.
Provide a properly formatted APA reference to the web page at the end of your initial post.

Considering my research question, "What factors do search engines use to appear more often in queries that our audience is searching for?" I chose "Six Simple Ways to Make Your Site More Visible in Google Search Results" as my article for the research question.
Currency
The article was published on 13 January, which is a few weeks old. Although there is no information on updates, the webpage is vital for my research since recent information is needed to answer the question. Technology is dynamic; hence, the article will be relevant for my study due to its timeliness. Moreover, the links provided within the webpage are responsive, reliable, and updated.
Relevance
The information available in the article is relevant to my research question since it directly answers my question in a number format and provides illustrations. The article indicates six ways of making sites more visible in google search results. Moreover, the article mentions the google search console's essence, page speed, identification of keywords, and google backlinks, among others (Singleton, 2021). The article targets both a regular and professional audience, placing it at an appropriate level in achieving my research goals. Before choosing this article for my research question, I was able to identify several sources. However, I settled on this article due to its relevance and reliability.
