A program design for training includes a design document that is part of a detailed lesson plan. The detailed lesson plan typically contain: training goals, target audience, method of training, problems to be addressed in training, location, lesson outline, time of training and scope to be covered.
Since the goals and particulars about the lesson plan are stated, this facilitates adherence to a program, whereby both the trainee and trainer are aware what is expected of them.
