Marketing is a crucial part of any business in ensuring its sustainability, building and retaining a good market share. The marketing strategy and research are different for various organizations depending on what they think will create a robust market response. In most cases, market research takes weeks to months and years to complete and get reliable answers from the consumers and potential consumers of a certain project (Gneezy, 2017). However, JetBlue did an entire market research process within 90 minutes. This does not comply with the standard marketing procedures, but I think it was a good strategy considering JetBlue's situation at the time. JetBlue did the right thing and took an appropriate approach whose outcome did not widely vary if conducted through the traditional marketing research process.
