Managers should consider various elements in the process of building teams to ensure achievement of the organization's goals. As the newly appointed manager, I will implement various theories to ensure efficiency in the workplace. Knowing the first models will help me in the identification and consideration of the needs of different employees in a similar environment (Future Processing, 2016). I will ensure that the needs of the team like remuneration and job security are well taken care of to ensure sustenance of the acquired employees. On the other hand, implementing policies and regulations will help in the minimization or eradication of conflicts between the team members and also with the clients (Future Processing, 2016). Although self-motivation could be significant towards the achievement of organizational goals and objectives, I have to take responsibility for the position of a manager to ensure that the workers are motivated to ensure maximum productivity and output.
The position of a manager desires the achievement of various skills to enhance excellent overseeing of team members. I have a task of identifying and promoting positive behaviours in the working environment. In this case, rewarding the team members exhibiting the desired output at work will urge the other employees to work towards similar achievements (Northwest Missouri State University, 2018). I should also look into the achievement of a standard workplace culture that can offer incentives to new workers and earn credit through the achievement of the organization's mission. Although the employees have different interests and skills in certain fields, encouraging them to show standard behaviours towards each other will enhance peace in the working environment. In the occurrence of conflicts, I should take further steps of identifying the cause of the problem to create appropriate solutions towards the issues.
I will implement both operative and managerial techniques to ensure that the team works towards achieving the mission of the Company. Managerial functions entail; planning, directing, organizing and controlling the team members to ensure the efficacy of workers in the organization (Chaudhary, 2016). Planning will ensure update with the current trends in the field and organization is the implementation of various steps to ensure adherence. While directing encompasses the allocation of duties considering certain skills to ensure maximum cooperation in company operation, controlling will ensure compliance with the business plan to ensure achievement of goals. Operative functions circulate the functions, needs and responsibilities of team members (Chaudhary, 2016). While I ensure that all the needs of the team are handled effectively, the workers should follow all the rules and regulations to ensure the achievement of the Company's goals and mission.
