Allan’s work seeks to create a multi-layered fabric that weighs time, feeling, and perception, remaining relevant to the study of immersive experiences and challenging traditional principles of creativity (Lim, 2023). Within this project’s larger context of sensory art, the artist seeks to analyze and understand how human senses interact, which needs construction to provoke an intense reaction and deliberately transgress traditional ideas about artistic creation.This is a contemporary sensory artist Gwenael Allan whose work could be considered an enthralling chapter in the everchanging history of modern sensory art. The artist wants to place the viewer in a sensory and engaging environment where the senses can access actual participation. In his art, Allan aims to alter the audience’s perception of time and space (Lim, 2023).
