What are the elements of the artifact that you believe are most important to how you experience it? Does the choice of medium impact your experience?
State your opinion on what you believe is the purpose of this artifact and the success of the creator in achieving the purpose.
Discuss how the artifact reflects the culture (or context) in which it exists. Be sure to address what aspects of culture have relevance for this artifact: politics, history, religion, social perceptions, technology, media, education, and so on. In other words, how do the artifact and its culture interrelate?

Sea shells are the most used items from the sea shore to create various artifacts including beads, bracelets and a limited number of ornaments. One of the highly known shell artifact is Mollusks. Mollusks are made up of shells which are easily obtained from beach of fresh water bodies (Arthur, W. 2015). They can be used as simple beads and be filed to create artifacts in a way that their original shape becomes hard to recognize (World history). Mollusks are made of beads and pendants or a combination of the two. These artifacts maybe drilled, gouged or hammered to create holes in order to create a useful artifact. Occasionally, various shells are found with holes in them because of natural predator in the ecosystem.
Various element of sea shell artifacts such as Mollusk promote their usefulness in a particular culture. This is because they are embodied with mystical properties (Changing mind, 2017).
