This paper seeks to compare and contrast the interior Hagia Sophia and interior Amiens Cathedral. This will be done in terms of their similarities and differences in materials, size, historical context, function, subject matter and style. Amiens Cathedral is a Gothic architecture. It was designed in 1220 by Renaud de Cormont, Robert de Luzarches and Thomas de Cormont architects. Amien Cathedral has nave vaults of over 140 feet off the floor.
