It is interesting how drones are incorporated into auditing inventory in warehouses, where they scan QR codes, bar codes, and other labels and transmit the data to online platforms for audit automation purposes. Drone use in auditing inventory reduces error rates and time to count stocks (Christ, 2021). Accomplishing the time reduction required to carry out audit activities increases audit efficiency. Unlike the traditional auditing processes, the use of drones to enhance audits is faster and accurate hence making the audit automation efficient and reliable.
