The Purpose of Government
The paper “The Purpose of Government”, did not cover in sufficient depth the purpose of the government. Some of the ideas the student gives on the purposes of the government are rather incomplete. As a result, some of the arguments put forth by the student lack enough ground to explain his views why the government exist. However, a few instances could hold the waters if restructured as follows:
One: “A lot of people wonder what is the purpose of government, why is it there anyway? … people think they know what the purpose of government is, other people disagree and this sometimes can cause government to not be affective.” 1 This could be restructured as; “A lot of people do not know the purpose of the government and its existence. Limited understanding of its purpose causes a lot of conflict that can affect the government’s performance.” It develops a better introduction of the paper and its argumentation.
Two: “…the people who wrote the constitution put in it that there are three different parts to the government, this is called the separation of power...” 1 to bring out the idea and rhetoric of power separation it would be “the constitution separates governments power in three parts a concept referred to as separation of power”
Three: “I think government is the worker that works for the people who tell them what they want them...
