Industrialization led to the growth of massive corporations and also increased labor demand which united thousands of farmers and other immigrants. The establishment of proper transport networks such as railroads provided industries with access to remote markets and also helped in opening the American West. The development of industries pulled most of the workers into the cities to look for work. The United State of 1920 revealed that most of the people in America were living in urban centers. This paper explains relocating to new areas, moving back to Eastern Europe and joining organizations and societies as some of the strategies that immigrants may apply to improve on their difficult situations.
