The presence of an opiate addiction has posed challenges in maintaining employment and securing secure housing. Currently, he resides with his mother in a substandard apartment where he has been subjected to opiate injections. Besides, his drug use has made his life unpredictable and harmed his relationships with his key supports, to the point that he is now wholly estranged from his sober mother and sister. He has relationship issues, estrangement, and secrecy due to his opioid usage, despite their efforts to help him. His total and barred opioid addiction, which requires residential treatment, is the root of his many difficulties. Impact on activities of daily living. The use of opioids has seriously cleaved Cody’s capability of carrying out the fundamental aspects of life, such as holding down a job and the placement of his home. Thereby, he is now unsuccessfully actively looking for a job because of having functional impairments caused by his substance use.
