Extroversion is an attitude where a subject is moved by what is happening in his environment, and DeShawn appears to be significantly influenced by what is happening around him. As indicated in the scenario, crime scenes have an energizing effect on him, and they lead to the acquisition of a hero-like figure whose sole wish is to solve crimes. In the same way that DeShawn is moved to act by the crime scenes, he appears to be in search of errands or duties that will help him attain high levels of stimulation. For example, when he talks to elementary school children about safety, he feels good because of his position and the children’s perception of him. DeShawn appears to be choosing environments that help him be the point of focus or the hero. Further, his ability to adapt and be good at fixing things is a testament to a person who is moved by his environment and the happenings therein.
