Attributes of a vision and the causes of a change in vision
An organizational vision is the visualization and articulation of an organization's bigger picture of its objectives and its desirable future. It acts as a reference to its future actions (Millar & Magala, 2012). Besides, it assists in the internal critical decision-making processes and strategies for the organization's growth. The vision also enables the organization to operate with clarity and acts as a bridge to its core goals and values.
A good vision should be motivating in that it should itself be inspirational and coerce people to act towards the organizations' goal. It should also be achievable given some extra efforts in the organization's activities (Millar & Magala, 2012).
