There are many models that are used for implementing and managing change in an organization. For this paper, I chose to compare and contrast the McKinsey 7s Model and the ADKAR Model. These two models have specific elements that can be used to assess and arrange organizational behavior and productivity. It is important to address key points or elements of an organization in order to create effective and sustainable change in the workforce.
The 7 S model examines six major elements which converge into the organization's shared values. These are strategy, structure, systems, style, staff, and skills. This model highlights the established workplace culture as a determiner of employee output and company productivity. It reiterates the importance of competency and organizational systems in order to bring out the needed attributes to create a flowing and conducive workforce.
