Culture of innovation: Dog care toothbrush and toothpaste
During this course you will work within a CLC to create an innovative idea for a new product, service, or business. Each member of the team will be responsible for contributing an innovative idea to the team for consideration. The team will then come to a consensus on both the innovation it will pursue and the best process for implementing the innovation. The project will be completed in phases throughout the course and end with a team presentation that recommends exactly how the innovation should be implemented.
To begin preparing, meet with your instructor-assigned team to outline the approach you will take to your topic 3, 6, and 7 assignments. During this first meeting you may want to do the following:
1. Introduce yourself to each other.
2. Identify the capabilities you bring to the team.
3. Identify the areas you want to work on for these projects.
4. Identify areas on which you would like feedback from your peers based on your strengths and weaknesses.
5. Develop a project plan for the Topic 3, 6 and 7 assignments. Specific instructions for these assignments are found in the individual topics.
There is no deliverable due for this meeting. However, the meeting should be held and documented in your assigned CLC Forum.
That a dog is the best fried of the human race could be an understatement. Dogs have now become part and parcel of the lives of human beings giving them not only comfort but also security depending on the type of dog that one keeps. According to a pet owners survey that was carried out in 2017, there are approximately 89.7 million dogs owned in the United States. This was an increase of over 20 million since the beginning of the survey period in 2000, when around 68 million dogs were owned. Undeniably, these creatures have increasingly become like family members in many households. With such a great association with the human race, the next big question that comes to the minds of many is how to cater and take good care of them beyond providing them food and shelter. Although there are veterinary services offered for specific pets, very few people take their pets for these services. A study by Bir et. al. (2020) indicated that over 90% of cat and dog owners had visited a veterinarian at any time, but only about 40% visited a veterinarian annually.
