There are two main steps to goal analysis that will be explored with more specific domains of each of those two steps.• First the designer classifies the goal into one of four domains of learning. Those are attitude, psychomotor, verbal information, and intellectual skill.• After the domain has been identified, the designer then focuses on the steps the learner will have to demonstrate to show they will or are achieving the instructional goal.Performance ObjectivesOutcomesThe most important concept from this unit is the performance objective—a detailed description of what students will be able to do when they complete a unit of instruction.

The project aims at improving students' online research skills. This underlying objective comes from the heightened expectation among college tutors and employers that young people have online research competency skills to navigate the universal digital world and find practical solutions to assignments. Thriving in today's Internet age as both a scholar and professional requires the digital research skills and literacy required to improve their education and find appropriate information to specific issues. To this end, learners must know how to derive critical words from their study questions to guide the online research process. Search terms can help narrow down the topic and focus search efforts on the most critical problem. However, students require to know how to eliminate common and general words and identify the main ideas in the question. This capacity includes avoiding relational words and sticking to a few keywords for best results.
Students must also identify misinformation, which is quite prevalent on the Internet, and know-how to navigate the digital world in a safe and meaningful way. To do this, one must have the capacity to identify relevant articles and have the ability to verify the validity, accuracy, and reliability of various Internet sites. This ability involves differentiating between scholarly journals, personal blogs, government sites, podcasts, and independent organizations. It also requires applying various tests, including determining currency, authority, purpose, and dependability of independent information sources. Afterward, learners must know how to process, organize, and paraphrase presented information while correctly acknowledging the sources used in the stipulated format.
Goal Statement
Given the prevalence of the Internet and the heightened demand by college tutors and employers that students and graduates navigate the digital world to accomplish given tasks, 7th graders will acquire online research competencies to meet the demands of higher education and the workplace.

Given the goal statement, the objectives of this project fall particularly within the cognitive and psychomotor domains. The subcategory of the cognitive domain includes the ability to make judgments about the value of sources, understand the meaning and interpretation of problems, paraphrase presented information, organize and present information understandably, and connect various ideas. On the other hand, the subcategory of the psychomotor domain includes the ability to learn typing as a skill and achieve confidence as well as proficiency through practice. Students will learn how to type smoothly and swiftly through manipulation until naturalization.
Skills analysis
The process will involve evaluating both primary skills and subordinate skills. The primary skills include the ability to: derive search terms or keywords from a project and put them into search engines to ease online research; identify appropriate search results while avoiding irrelevant or inappropriate sites or advertisements; evaluate the information on the sites in terms of relevance, validity, reliability, credibility, and scholarliness; internalize, evaluate, process, and present the information in a positive and meaningful manner; compare several sources to determine the most reliable and relevant, and transfer knowledge gained to the project and cite online sources correctly. On the other hand, the subordinate skills include the ability to: type smoothly, accurately, and naturally, use correct citation format, over and above, understand critical vocabulary words generally used in the cyber world.

The target audience is learners in the 7th grade. Various education standards require students in the 7th grade to possess sufficient online research skills to finish well-researched writing assignments, all while using correct citation as stipulated.

Instructor support will be provided to learners as they practice and implement online research skills. Necessary resources in tools, timing, and facilities will be made available to facilitate effective learning. Students will first work in pairs before working individually to evaluate and reinforce their online research competencies. Online research skills are essential to navigating college life and the digital workplace.

The classroom site is appropriately furnished with the necessary resources for digital devices and Internet access to facilitate holistic learning. It is appropriately configured to further the learning goal, simulates college and future work environments.

Condition: It addresses the issue of poor online research scholarship.
Objective 4: At the end of the lesson, the 7th graders must cite the sources used according to the stipulated citation format.
Degree: It seeks to ensure that students avoid plagiarism in their research.
Assessment Strategies
The entry skills tests will be mostly observation and focus on evaluating students' capacity to use search terms and type correctly. Conversely, the pretest will be mostly class discussions linking prior knowledge of the Internet to lesson content. The assessment on practice will involve a one-page writing assignment, first done in pairs and then individually, to test for the ability to discriminate various Internet sources to identify most relevant and accurate sources, paraphrase contained information, and cite used materials correctly as required.
Learning Solution
The solution seeks to address the issue of online research skills, especially in the age of the Internet, where every student is required to know how to use the ubiquitous virtual learning environments to expand their knowledge base.
