1) Read these three articles on milk/dairy consumption:

WHO? Who wrote the article? What are his/her credentials? Is this person/organization a credible resource on the topic?
WHY? What is the purpose of the website? Is the site balanced and objective? Is there a particular point of view or bias? Is there advertising?
WHAT? Does the site provide accurate factual information that can be verified? Are the sources cited? Has it undergone a peer review process?
WHEN? When was the article/site created and last updated?
3) What conclusion(s) did you draw about the topic, based on your reading of these three articles? What are some strategies for making sense of all the conflicting nutrition information? Write a paragraph summarizing your responses to these two questions and your overall takeaways from this assignment. (To help you address the second question, read the article by Harvard: "Deciphering Media Stories on Diet")
4) Find and cite (using MLA format) one peer-reviewed scholarly journal article that you would use if you were writing a research paper to support your opinion about milk/dairy consumption and health. Visit CIA Library website and this article explaining scholarly vs. non scholarly articles.
