The Nazis primarily believed that a country's progress hinged on its ability to wage wars and expand its territories. When they took over power, they began to empower the military and forgot to make civilian investments. Under Hitler's leadership, they believed that every individual must have work, which significantly reduced the rate of unemployment across the country. With a strong economy and many available resources, the idea of strengthening the military could be conducted quickly.
People were able to get basic needs, such as food and bread. However, there was complete suppression of civil and religious freedoms for ordinary citizens.
