Before, during, and/or after a baptism, prayers are offered. A prayer of blessing over the water, a prayer for the Holy Spirit to descend upon the baptizand (person being baptized), and sometimes prayers for/with the community receiving a new member through baptism. Your assignment is to write a prayer for the baptismal candidate, invoking the Holy Spirit in their life.
