The fallacy in which most people believing lies are found trapped is that they hardly consider the evidence. The reluctance to take the evidence into account can be deliberate, unconscious, or subconscious depending on one’s circumstances, which I will explain in detail in the final paper.
Lies Conform to Their Adamantly Held Beliefs
In some cases, people tend to invest in lies because they align with their long-held and steadfast beliefs. For example, a strictly religious person would tend to accept any information passed off as fact that conforms with their faith and disprove any contradiction.
