Personal statement

I need a personal statement for my convictions. I am trying to obtain a licensure for social work and have a history of criminal charges. I have to provide a statement about my situation. I was in my own addiction and married to an abuse man for 12 years. The criminal charges that I acquired was to support my addiction. I have been separated from him since 2015. I began to rebuild myself when I gained complete sobriety in 2016 and made the decision to use my past to help others and began my journey in college to become a chemical dependency counselor along the way I found a passion for social work. I have been in college for six years and I am currently in my last semester of my master's degree for social work. I have been working in a substance abuse treatment center as a counselor and currently hold a SWT and LCDCIII. I plan to become an EMDR therapist to continue to help survivors of trauma as I am a survivor of severe childhood trauma that played a role in my life choices. I also am a survivor of physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse and addiction, I have completely changed my life and now live in the solution and have become a productive member of society. I have been sober for 9 years now and the last time I have had a charge was in 2014 but convicted in 2016. Please use this information to write a professional personal statement for my licensure.
